Update:New recordings soon!

Recently we announced the upcoming recordings of a new Detonation EP later this year. However, we've been coming up with loads of material lately so we decided a change of plans! Instead of an EP, we're now planning to record the 5th full-length before the end of 2011! How 'bout them apples?

New recordings soon!

With the new guys in the band, we've found new inspiration. Later this year we will record a 5 or 6 song EP, and hopefully we will be able to release it before the end of this year! We've got a couple of cool songs finished already, looks like we're heading towards 'An Epic Defiance' part II if this continues ;) This material is classic Detonation stuff!

Db's gig

Italy was great, thanks to Algol for setting the tour up! This Friday we will playing our 1st show in our hometown Utrecht since our line-up changes and release of Reprisal. Shows start around 21:30.

Detonation is back!!

We are very happy to announce that Detonation is back in business! We've got a brand new line-up, a new killer album, a new booking agency, and also a new website. How's that for a fresh start? Visit our Merchandise section to pre-order your copy of our new album Reprisal now! We've got the first printing reserved for all you die hard Detonation fans, so go get it before the actual releasedate on April 2nd.

Reprisal will initially not be released by a record company. We've been in contact with several interested parties, but in the end no substantial deal came out of it. We've had so many questions of people asking when the new album would come out, that we decided not to wait any longer, and release Reprisal ourselves. In time, the cd will become available through all the digital portals, but for now it is available exclusively via this website, and at our live shows.
